Privacy
Last updated October 2026. Plain English, no traps.
What we collect
When you leave a mark: your initials, your two answers, and your email. When you join The Signal: your email. We also keep a one-way hashed version of your IP address for a short time to stop spam.
What's public
Only your initials and your two answers appear on The Wall and on share cards. Your email is never shown publicly and never sold.
How we use email
To send you your mark and card. If you opted into The Signal, to send occasional emails about ideas, drops and recommendations. Every Signal email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Service providers
We use hosting, database, email-delivery and bot-protection providers to run the site. They only process data to provide that service.
Analytics
We count basic events (like starting or finishing a mark) to understand what works. No ad tracking.
Removal
Want your mark or your email gone? Email remove@PLACEHOLDER.com with your mark ID and we'll remove it.
